MOAI
TARGET TUG
The MOAI is a target drone that can tow sub-targets, intended for military training of air defence systems. This aircraft incorporates a powerful combustion engine that allows it to reach optimum speeds for conducting artillery firing exercises (calibres from 35 to 90 mm).
The MOAI can be used as a direct target, but because of its powerful motor, it can also tow a wide range of sub-targets depending on the type of mission. This aerial target can be fitted with several payload, such as the MDI (Miss Distance Indicator), which report in real time the distance at which the bursts fired by the defence system operator pass from the target, radar or infra-red signature enhancers, smoke cans, etc.
The MOAI has great scope and range, which maximize the number of repetitions made during a mission.
These unique features make MOAI the ideal target tug for practice with 35-90 mm cannons or similar, as well as small calibre ammunition and short and medium-range missile systems.
