ATLANTIC I
MEDIUM-RANGE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE RPAS
The Atlantic I is a medium-range, high-performance system that has been specially designed for ISTAR missions: reconnaissance, target location, surveillance and intelligence.
The Atlantic is a Class I RPAS made entirely of composite materials and designed for rapid operational response. Due to its simplicity and reliability, only two people are needed to operate it on a mission, for either take-off from a runway or launching from a catapult. The Atlantic carries out the flight plan autonomously and automatically and, in the event of an emergency, has a parachute recovery system.
The complete system consists of platform, ground station and ruggedized laptop with software for command and control. It can carry a wide range of payloads (EO/IR sensors, radio, radar, etc.) making the Atlantic a very versatile unit.
