The SUNNY project aimed at developing a solution or system capable of improving the effectiveness of EU border surveillance, focusing on its final demonstration on maritime border surveillance, including support for search and rescue operations, compared to traditional systems, while maintaining affordability and interoperability as key enabling factors.
